Before you know it winter will be upon us. Here are some tips to prepare yourself and ensure you and family are safe.
- Have your fireplace cleaned and inspected
- Pile your firewood in a dry spot or allow the wood pieces to dry before use
- Make sure that space heater has an automatic shut off and has a 3-foot clearance all around it
- Change the filters in your heating units or air systems
- Change the bulbs in your outside lights
