BETHLEHEM TWP. CRASH CLOSES ROAD FOR 4 HOURS!

Stations 17 & 14 were dispatched on
1/22/2007 to this 1 vehicle accident in the 2400 block of Willow Park
Rd. Asst. Chief Hauze (Nancy Run) was 1st officer on scene, and reported
a pick-up truck vs. utility pole. Pole was snapped and wires were in the
roadway. Power was reported out in the general area. PP&L reported 2,500
residents were without power. Fire units secured the vehicle, assisted
EMS, and provided traffic control. Hecktown Fire Police were called to
the scene to assist. Roadway was re-opened around 5:00 PM, and power was
restored to all residents by 6:00 PM. Penn Dot also responded with their
